We believe every student deserves the chance to shine

At Thrive, our mission is to help students grow in confidence, creativity. We create a supportive space where they can express themselves and build self-esteem.
thrive is speech
Through fun and engaging lessons which stem from a form of Speech and Drama, we teach skills that inspire personal growth and encourage leadership. We aim to help every child feel valued and capable. Our goal is to help them become their best selves. Confident, creative, and ready for the future.
Our Founder

Meet Kelly Raos

Welcome to Thrive! My name is Kelly, and I’m the founder of this wonderful programme that combines my lifelong passion for drama with my dedication to helping children grow in confidence and creativity.

Growing up in Howick, I attended drama classes from a young age. These classes didn’t just teach me how to perform; they shaped me into the person I am today, instilling confidence, resilience, and the ability to express myself clearly. After 20 years as a drama teacher, I’ve seen firsthand the immeasurable benefits that speech and drama bring to children, benefits I’ve witnessed not just in my students but also in my own daughters, who blossomed through their own experiences in drama classes.

When I realised there was a growing need for these vital life skills in today’s modern world, I was inspired to create a programme that could reach as many children as possible. That’s how the Thrive Programme was born.

Our mission is simple: to equip children with the confidence, creativity, and communication skills they need to thrive in every area of life.

With small class sizes, a warm and supportive environment, and a focus on fundamental skills, Thrive is a place where children can grow into their best selves. Whether they’re mastering public speaking, diving into improvisation, or learning to bring characters to life, our students leave each class with skills they’ll carry for a lifetime.

At Thrive, we’re more than just a drama programme, we’re a community that celebrates growth, creativity, and self-expression. I can’t wait to welcome your child to our classes and watch them thrive!
